Sonic Futures presents an exciting evening exploring the world of music and audio for video games, taking place at the Middlesbrough headquarters of Double Eleven on 9th July 2026.
Running from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM, this special event will bring together leading composers, sound designers and industry professionals working across the games industry for a series of conversations, insights and behind-the-scenes stories from one of the fastest growing areas of the creative sector.
The evening will feature a live panel discussion alongside an exclusive in-conversation session with acclaimed guests including Alex Horowitz (EA) Sandy Lobban (Ubisoft), Jessica Sanders, Peter Michael Davison (Runescape Dragonwilds), and Nainita Desai with additional speakers to be announced.
From cinematic orchestral scores and adaptive music systems to sound design, immersion and interactive storytelling, the event will explore how audio helps shape the worlds, emotions and experiences of modern gaming.
Designed for musicians, producers, composers, game developers, students and anyone passionate about games and interactive media, attendees will gain real-world insight into career pathways within game audio while hearing directly from creatives working on major titles and projects across the industry.
